Ava and the Golden Gate Bridge. A school project. Ava came home with the following instructions: Pick a local point of interest, choose a medium (video, or powerpoint), and prepare a 10-15min presentation of which you shall to deliver to the class. Ambitious? Nah. Not for an 8 year old elementary school student also clutching the addendum notice: “Parental involvement actively encouraged”. Uh huh.

Ava film-directed and art-directed the entire sequence, took all the snapshots (shown throughout the video), and performed both executive producer and editorial roles. I was merely the financier and grip. Sigh.
