Ava at her piano recital. It always amazes me how she pulls it together for these events. Observing her in the days leading up to this, you’d never believe it possible that she’d do as well as she does.

I filmed this on my new daily shooter – a Pentax K-5. There is a bit of handshake, and you’ll notice that I was manually focusing – but overall, I’m very pleased with the results. Especially in dimly lit, low light, situations (like this recital venue).
